Everything started at Boroli in the 1990s. Silvano and Elena Boroli founded the eponymous winery in Castiglione Falletto, in the eastern part of the Barolo region. In 2000, Achille joined the company and today leads it in the second generation. At Boroli, the focus is entirely on quality. This is also evident in their own restaurant. In a very short time, it earned a Michelin star. Boroli: For us, a sensational discovery. In Boroli's portfolio, alongside the basic Barolo, there are also three single-vineyard Barolos: Cerequio, Villero, and Brunella. Brunella is a monopole vineyard, meaning that only Boroli maintains vines in this vineyard. Quality without compromise. This is the credo that Boroli follows in winemaking. Their wines are terroir-driven and stylistically rather traditional. They are slender and mineral wines that wonderfully reflect the character of the Nebbiolo grapes.
