The company was founded in 1908 by Mr. Henri Badoux. The family business established itself at an early stage with the name Aigle in connection with the famous vineyard 'Les Murailles'. Even at that time, it was emphasized that the wines of this region, with relatively low acidity, have the highest sugar content along with those of Lavaux.
