Guido Brivio has a solid French and American professional education as an oenologist. Motivated by a long-standing family tradition in the wine trade, he had the opportunity in the late 1980s to buy an old wine cellar that had long been dedicated to the production of Ticino wines. Today, he is considered one of the top winemakers in Ticino viticulture. TRA NOI (Italian for "between us") is the joint selection of Guido Brivio and Reto Vergani, who is fulfilling a youthful dream with this project. His mother came from Lamone, a small suburb of Lugano, and during her lifetime always enjoyed the local Ticino wines. The grapes for TRA NOI Ticino bianco and Ticino rosso come from Sottoceneri, the southernmost tip of Ticino.
