Berta Grappa Beyond the by Lidia

The Berta Distillery is located in the heart of Monferrato, a picturesque, hilly landscape in northern Piedmont. The distillery was founded in 1947 by Paolo Berta, whose family had previously been active as winegrowers in the region. In 2002, the distillery was extensively renovated, modernized, and expanded with a spacious barrel cellar and steel tanks.

Today, Berta is one of the leading grappa producers in Italy and is run by Paolo's son Enrico with the same passion and dedication. Approximately 400,000 bottles of grappa are produced here annually at the highest quality level – characterized by tradition, innovation, and artisanal perfection.
