Elvidio Alessandri has created a true gem with his estate of only 11 hectares. When his 1993 Akronte received the 'tre bicchieri' from the 'Gambero rosso', attention was drawn to the small winery in the southern Marche region.
Alessandri has taken the sale of the exceptional wines into his own hands. In the cellar, he is advised by the successful oenologist Fabrizio Ciufoli. Boccadigabbia once belonged to the "hundred estates" of Civitanova, which were under Napoleon's rule. To this day, all estates and colonial manors in this area bear and honor the large N in their coat of arms.
