Typically, we Italiani are bad at keeping secrets to ourselves. With Segreto, we make an exception - at least until you open the box.
On our travels, in our winemakers' cellars, we taste a lot. Some things simply stick with us. A wine with character, a grape variety you don't find in your glass every day, a region that deserves more attention. These are exactly the kinds of wines we like to share. Ecco.
Four times a year - in October, January, April, and July - we select one of these wines for you. We won't reveal which one it is beforehand. You'll receive three or six bottles of it, enough to get to know it, share it, and discover it anew with the second glass. We've thought it through and done the research. You'll have to taste it again yourself.
Secret February
Bolgheri—that's the coast of Tuscany, avenues of cypress trees, big names—and almost always big blends. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, a little of this, a little of that: that's how they've been doing it there for decades. And then a small estate bucks the trend and bottles Cabernet Franc. Pure. Single-varietal. Ecco.
