Cantalapiedra was founded in 2014 by Isaac and his son Manuel. As direct descendants of a family of winemakers who had always sold their grapes to other producers, Isaac and Manuel created Cantalapiedra with the goal of producing Terroir Verdejos. Cantalapiedra has 20 ha of certified organic vineyards in La Seca, Valladolid, and Zamora. Isaac and Manuel also apply biodynamic practices, both in the vineyard and in the cellar, which has led them to produce their wines under the appellation Vino de la Tierra de Castilla.
