The winery was founded in 1950 by Bruno Chiericati and is located on the outskirts of Bellinzona. Only the highest quality Merlot grapes are used for the production of the wines. As one of the first Ticino wineries, Chiericati successfully established sales both domestically and abroad and is often cited as a representative of this region.
