Nardini

"Acquavite Nardini" has been produced and bottled in Bassano del Grappa since 1779. The founder of Italy's most traditional distillery was Bortolo Nardini, who in April 1779 acquired an inn at the east end of the famous Bassano bridge on the banks of the Brenta river. The inn, with its strategically favorable location for water supply, became an important part of the distillation process. At that time, the Brenta river was an important waterway mainly used for transporting goods by boat to distant Venice. Today, Nardini is a company that has succeeded in preserving its valuable tradition while combining it with the most advanced manufacturing technologies. Nardini is managed by Giuseppe, Cristina, Angelo, Antonio, and Leonardo, all members of the family. Production amounts to around 4 million bottles, which are exported to the main markets worldwide, including Australia, the USA, Japan, and China.
