The name "Due" stands for the two grape varieties, the two years of aging and the two fermentation processes. In other words, 1/3 of the grapes are dried and emptied together with the remaining must in a second fermentation. Garnet red; fine fruit aromas, including cherries, are evident on the nose. Floral on the palate, lots of wild berries and soft tannins.

Gianni Tessari, 1963 In Brognoligo geboren, begann Anfang der achtziger Jahre zusammen mit seinem Bruder den Soave zu revolutionieren. Es folgten Jahre des italienischen Weinbooms an dem die Tessari Brüder massgeblich beteiligt waren. In den neunziger Jahren kamen dann die roten Gewächse wie Amarone und Ripasso dazu. 2013 dann der Wendepunkt für Gianni Tessari. Er verliess das Familienweingut und leitet von nun an das Weingut Marcato in Roncà, welches er heute zusammen mit seiner Frau und den zwei Töchtern unter dem Label giannitessari führt.
