Essence of Venus

"Essenza di Venus" – a rosé like a sunset over the Tyrrhenian Sea. Tuscan light in the glass, a salty breeze on the nose, memories of aperitifs under pine trees, barefoot in the sand. This new cru is the elegant sister of "Aqua di Venus" – with more depth, more length, more body. The bottle? A wave poured into a glass. The taste? Mediterranean, clear, refined. Drink it, taste summer. Share it, give the gift of dolce vita.

The rosé masterpiece

The new Cru Rosé from Ruffino impresses with precision, elegance, and depth. The grapes come from select vineyards in the Tuscan coastal region of Maremma and from the La Solatia estate near Monteriggioni—two terroirs synonymous with freshness, expression, and Mediterranean finesse.

Hand-picking ensures the highest quality. In the cellar, the grapes are immediately chilled and gently pressed. The must clarifies naturally before temperature-controlled fermentation begins in stainless steel tanks—a process that preserves fruit and clarity.

The wine then matures for four months on the fine lees. Weekly bâtonnage adds further structure, creaminess, and depth. The result is a rosé that delights with delicate fruit, balanced acidity, and a long, saline-mineral finish.
