In Zagarolo, an old village built on a tuff stone hill, stands the Federici winery. Here, in this historic place, Antonio Federico began producing wines with regional character in 1960. To this day, the winery is a leader in the production of regional grape varieties such as Malvasia, Trebbiano, Nero Buono, or Cesanese. Outside of Rome, the wines of the Lazio region are still not very well known. This is not surprising, as over 60% of these wines are enjoyed locally.
