The insistence on continuing the family traditions, which have been passed down over time, represents an invaluable asset for the Porello family. Their first vineyards date back to the first half of the last century.
After the Second World War, the inheritance was taken over by Riccardo and Ettore's children. These were the years of the economic boom and industrialization of Italy. The family business, now in its third generation, is today run by Riccardo's son Marco. He took over the management of the family business in 1994, after obtaining a university diploma in oenology at the Scuola Enologica di Alba (Cuneo) and gaining important experience in France, in the Bordeaux region, and in Tuscany.
