Geographically, the Alexs winery (11ha) is located in northern Burgenland, near the shore of Lake Neusiedl in Gols. Alexs relies on spontaneous fermentation for all its wines. Alex Schreiner says about his wines: No easy-to-drink wines without edges and corners. But a clearly comprehensible origin profile, variety and vintage typicity, and the signature of a sensitive winemaker. My wines are what comes from my vineyards, what has gone through my mind during the year, the harvest, and afterwards, and then through my hand.
