Selection from a 0.6 hectare plot at 805 m above sea level from vines up to 80 years old. Harvested at the end of September, fermented in 500 L wooden barrels and concrete tanks. Aging: 17 months in French barriques. Annual production: 2050 bottles!

Valdemonjas

Valdemonjas is a project of the Moyano family and the star oenologist Luca D’Attoma. The sustainable winery is located at 750 m above sea level in the Pago Valdemonjas, in Quintanilla de Arriba (Valladolid), right in the coveted Gold Mile of the Ribera del Duero DO. The 8 ha are divided into small, very different plots and are cultivated according to biodynamic guidelines.
