The Grappa Ditirambo combines art and science to create a harmonious and complex distillate. The basis is formed by six barrels of Grappa SoloPerGian, which were selected by the Berta family, Maestro Peppe Vessicchio and Andrea Rizzoli. Through natural vibrations and careful maturation, the grappa develops its unique aromas. The name refers to the dithyramb, an ecstatic song in honor of the god Dionysus, and symbolizes joy, beauty and the fusion of music and pleasure. The Ditirambo grappa matures for eight years in 1200-liter barrels and a further two years in 100-liter barrels, which intensifies its complex aromas and harmony.

Die Distilleria Berta liegt im Herzen des Monferrato, einer malerischen, hügeligen Landschaft im nördlichen Piemont. Gegründet wurde die Brennerei im Jahr 1947 von Paolo Berta, dessen Familie bereits zuvor als Weinbauern in der Region tätig war. Im Jahr 2002 wurde die Brennerei umfassend renoviert, modernisiert und um einen grosszügigen Fasskeller sowie Stahltanks erweitert.

Heute zählt Berta zu den führenden Grappa-Produzenten Italiens und wird von Paolos Sohn Enrico mit derselben Leidenschaft und Hingabe geführt. Jährlich entstehen hier rund 400'000 Flaschen Grappa auf höchstem Qualitätsniveau – geprägt von Tradition, Innovation und handwerklicher Perfektion.
