Part of it is aged in barriques, then on the fermentation yeast for 6 months before being transferred and continuing its ageing in the bottle for 6 months.

Massolino

Azienda Agricola Massolino Vigna Rionda was founded in 1896 by Giovanni Massolino’s great-grandfather. Now in its fourth generation, the family continues to produce high-quality wines. The winery’s outstanding vineyards and great dedication to production and grape preparation have made it one of the leading Barolo producers. In 1990, a new cellar was opened in Serralunga d'Alba, allowing the wines to be stored at controlled temperature and humidity. All the wines produced come from the winery’s own vineyards.
