Bastioni Chianti Classico DOCG Tenuta Collazzi

Carlo Marchi acquired the winery in 1933. The estate is located in the heart of the Chianti Classico region and extends over 390 hectares of land. Only 35 hectares are planted with vines and another 100 hectares with olive trees. The winery belongs to the Marchesi di Frescobaldi family, one of the most renowned wine-producing families in Italy, which also owns Tenuta di Ornellaia. However, Collazzi is managed independently from the group and can therefore fully commit to sustainable quality thinking. Great importance is placed on gentle and selective work in the vineyard, and the harvest is done by hand.
