Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOC Ciavolich

The Ciavolich winery is one of the most traditional producers in Abruzzo and has a history dating back to the 18th century. Originally founded by a family that came from present-day Croatia to the region, the estate has remained in family hands to this day and is deeply rooted in the local wine culture. The vineyards lie between hills and the Adriatic coast, benefiting from an ideal combination of sun, sea influence, and calcareous soils. Ciavolich combines this historical identity with a modern understanding of quality and focuses on authentic, terroir-driven wines. Especially the indigenous grape varieties of Abruzzo are vinified here with great care and clearly brought to the forefront.
