Since the Komminoth family pressed their first own wine in Maienfeld in 1980, the enthusiasm for the traditional Pinot Noir as well as for always new things has increased year by year. The tendency towards ever better quality is a matter of course for them; Komminoth is now one of the best addresses in the Bündner Herrschaft. Today, about 3.7 hectares of vines are cultivated. The total area is spread over 15 parcels in and around Maienfeld and is located in the best sites for top wines.
