Deep ruby red. The nose is dominated by a rich, complex and multi-layered bouquet. A successful combination of red and black berries and sweet spices with tertiary notes of tobacco and chocolate. Super balanced on the palate. The freshness gives the wine great length, while its breadth is created by the strong body and structure. The finish begins with a play of aromas through fruit and balsamic notes, minerality and mature tannins.

vinification

The grape harvest takes place between the end of September and the beginning of October. The destemmed grapes are macerated and fermented for around 25 days with daily pressing and racking. After racking, the wine is transferred to 500-litre wooden barrels and matures there for 18 months. The wine is then further matured in the bottle for at least 9 months.
