Concentrated ruby red, it is very complex on the nose with plenty of aromas of ripe red and black berries, accompanied by notes of liquorice, cocoa powder, tobacco and eucalyptus. Rich, powerful and soft on the palate with youthful but well-integrated tannins and excellent acidity.

Harvested at the end of October and beginning of November. Matures for 24 months in French oak barriques and tonneaux and 12 months in the bottle.

Di Majo Norante

Di Majo Norante stellt seit dem 19. Jahrhundert Wein her, wovon die alten Keller unter dem Campomarino-Platz und im alten Familiengebäude zeugen. Das Engagement für den Weinbau wurde zunächst von Luigi und dann von Alessio di Majo übernommen und wird heute parallel zu Forschung und Experimenten fortgesetzt. Di Majo Norante produziert seine eigenen Weine aus Trauben, die auf 123 Hektar Weinbergen auf dem alten Feudalbesitz der Markgrafen von Norante di Santa Cristina angebaut werden.

Die Weinbauphilosophie von Di Majo Norante folgt einer traditionellen Herangehensweise an den Weinbau und die Weinherstellung, wobei der Schwerpunkt auf der Bewahrung aller Merkmale der mediterranen Weinherstellung liegt.
