The Lugana Extra Brut Methodo Classico is obtained from a very careful selection of the musts, whereby only the middle and noblest part is chosen from the pressing. A part is aged in barriques before the second fermentation takes place in the bottle for about 36 months.

Dort wo andere Ferien machen, ist das Weingut Olivini zu Hause. Das Weingut liegt in der Nähe von Desenzano und bewirtschaftet einige der schönsten Hanglagen am südlichen Zipfel des Gardasees. Die Familie Olivini besitzt seit vielen Generationen Weinberge, verkaufte ihre Weine früher allerdings offen an andere Weingüter. Vor gut 10 Jahren begannen sie zusammen mit dem Önologen Antonio Crescini die Weine selbst auszubauen und unter eigenem Namen zu vermarkten. Geführt wird der Betrieb von den Geschwistern Giovanni, Giorgio und Giordana Olivini, die mit großer Leidenschaft die autochthone Rebsorte Turbiano, die auch Trebbiano Lugana genannt wird, fördern.
