In 1965, Annamaria Clementi Zanella moved with her son Maurizio to the impressive hilly landscape of Franciacorta. After finishing high school, the young Maurizio deepened his oenological knowledge at the universities of Beaune and Bordeaux. Upon his return, he modernized and expanded the family estate, producing world-class and prestigious wines and sparkling wines from then on. Gambero Rosso, the leading Italian wine publication, awarded Cà del Bosco the title 'Winery of the Year 2003.' Furthermore, Maurizio Zanella has succeeded countless times in receiving the 'tre bicchieri' award for both his sparkling and still wines.
