This wine is carefully destemmed and crushed, followed by a 48-hour cold maceration at 8°C. Alcoholic fermentation begins in steel tanks and ends in ceramic amphorae and tonneaux. Malolactic fermentation is not carried out. The wine matures for 15 months on fine lees in 500l French oak barrels and 400l ceramic amphorae, with frequent bâtonnages. After a rest period of 4 months in the bottle, a stylish wine is created.

Accompanying

It is an excellent accompaniment to fine dishes. It goes particularly well with fish dishes, white meat and creamy cheeses. Thanks to its freshness and depth, it can also be enjoyed solo to appreciate its full aromatic complexity.

Mura Mura

A wonderful discovery at Vinitaly 2022. Guido Martinetti and Federico Grom, the founders of the gelato multi-company Grom, bought 30ha of land in Barbaresco after selling their ice cream empire to Unilever, of which 10ha are planted with vines. There they now produce high-quality single-vineyard Barbarescos that meet the highest standards. Other wines such as Barbera d'Asti or excellent Piemonte DOC complete the range.
