Tuscan Red Vermouth draws on the ancient tradition of Tuscany, where vermouth was already being produced and prized for its aromatic qualities in the 18th century. The recipe combines select Tuscan wines with fine regional botanicals. No caramel or artificial colors are used – the ruby-red color comes entirely naturally from the Tuscan grapes.

Stefano Chioccioli, one of the most respected and awarded winemakers in the region, runs the family winery. Under his care, a true gem was created in a very short time. Together with his two sons Niccolò and Enrico, they tend the winery in Gaiole Chianti as well as the vines in the two classico zones Quercegrossa and Gaiole Chianti itself with the finest craftsmanship. The soils are medium-textured, rich in limestone and marl. With 5000 vines per hectare and an average yield of 30 hectoliters per hectare, the output is rather small and well below the legal requirements.
