Planeta was founded in 1995 by Alessio and Santi Planeta together with their cousin Francesca and developed within a few decades into one of the most renowned family businesses in Sicily. With vineyards and olive groves in various regions of the island, Planeta combines traditional agriculture with modern know-how and a deep respect for nature, origin, and terroir. This results in distinctive wines and high-quality extra virgin olive oil that authentically reflect the diversity of Sicily and the unique character of their origin.
